Beachten Sie, dass Polierschwämme beim Polieren unterschiedlich viel von der Lackierung abtragen. Beginnen Sie immer mit einem weichen Schwamm und einem leichten Mittel.
Bei starker Polierung mit gröberen Mitteln empfehlen wir, immer mit feineren Mitteln und einem weichen Schwamm abzuschließen. Dies, um die Lackierung so glänzend und tief wie möglich zu machen.

Stellen Sie zunächst sicher, dass das Auto wirklich sauber ist. Vorzugsweise mit Hilfe eines Claybars, um Kratzer beim Polieren zu vermeiden.
Seien Sie immer vorsichtig, nicht mit einem trockenen Schwamm zu polieren. Tragen Sie ca. 6 Perlen auf den Schwamm auf und verteilen Sie diese mit dem Finger, wenn der Schwamm neu ist.
Testen Sie, welches Mittel mit welchem Schwamm am besten zu Ihrem Volvo und dem Zustand Ihrer Lackierung passt. Beginnen Sie mit einem milden Mittel und einem weichen Schwamm. Gehen Sie dann zu einem härteren Schwamm über, bevor Sie ein gröberes Mittel mit einem weichen Schwamm ausprobieren.
Drücken Sie das Mittel mit Hilfe des Schwamms auf die zu polierende Lackierung.
Arbeiten Sie das Mittel bei niedriger Geschwindigkeit in die Lackierung ein und erhöhen Sie dann etwas die Geschwindigkeit, bis das Mittel durchsichtig wird. Arbeiten Sie mit der Maschine senkrecht und waagerecht. Vermeiden Sie Kreisbewegungen.
Wischen Sie überschüssiges Poliermittel mit einem sauberen Mikrofasertuch ab und gehen Sie noch einmal darüber, wenn es nötig ist.
Schließen Sie das Polieren immer ab, indem Sie Polierreste mit Isopropanol abwischen. Dies sorgt dafür, dass ein neuer LackSchutz besser haftet.
