Properly servicing the crankcase ventilation usually means that all components need to be replaced, which can be quite expensive due to labour costs and because the connector cables need to be removed. It is generally recommended that the components of the crankcase ventilation should be replaced at least every 160,000 km or so, depending on the quality of oils used, the service intervals followed, and the driving conditions the car has been subjected to. All plastic parts become very brittle over the years, and the hoses can become clogged with old oil residues and dirt. Clogged hoses result in higher pressure, which over time can cause oil leaks. If the problem is not addressed, it is only a matter of time before the crankcase ventilation fails, which in extreme cases can lead to engine failure.

We reserve the total amount of the order and only deduct money when your goods are packed and ready for dispatch.
