More information

The mirror has an aspheric shape which improves the reflecting qualities of the surface for drivers. This means the glass has a slightly convex center decreasing towards the edges. This enables the center of the mirror to magnify nearby cars, whilst the edges provide improved peripheral vision with a wider field of view. The mirror glass is made in the same way as your original Volvo mirror glass for the S60, S80 and V70.
The glass is also laminated to further repel water, speeding up the runoff of small droplets. The glass includes inbuilt electric heating which is attached via contacts to the mirror glass housing.
