When replacing the rear brake discs or brake pads, you need to push the piston back into the caliper to make room for the new parts.
However, on cars where the parking brake is integrated into the caliper, simply pushing is not enough. In these cases, you need this reset tool, which both screws and presses the piston back at the same time.
