A pair of rust-resistant coated, ventilated front brake discs for Volvo 740, 760, 780, 940, 960. These front brake discs are 287 mm in diameter and come with a treated surface to better resist rust. The brake discs are sold in pairs because both discs on the same axle should be replaced together. Matching brake pads for these discs can be found on the list to the right.

These brake discs at the front for Volvo 740, 760, 780, 940, 960 are ventilated and 286 mm in diameter. The brake discs are delivered in pairs as each axle set should be replaced at the same time (one pair per axle).
The brake discs are treated with a coating to better resist rust; rust will, over time, impair the brake's effectiveness. All brake discs are inspected and individually balanced at the factory.
Brake discs advice:
In order to maximize the lifespan of newly installed brake discs you should brake gently for the first 500 km. It is also advisable to avoid keeping your foot on the brake pedal when stopping for a longer time following a hard brake, for example when stopping at traffic lights. Always wait for the brakes to cool down before washing your Volvo, or avoid wetting the warm discs during a wash.
If you follow these simple tips your new brake discs will remain aligned and last longer.
