Compare the first two characters on the field second from the bottom right on the car's type plate. You will find the plate by the left front wheel in the engine compartment for model year 99-04 or by the door sill on the passenger side for model year 05-09.

The strut fits:

Volvo S60 00-09, all models with marking according to type plate: 4E, 4H, 5F, 6F, 26.
Volvo S80 99-05, all models with marking according to type plate: 11, 1W, 2A, 2J, 4D, 5M, 2D, 2G, 6E, 6T, 5F, 9E, 26.
Volvo V70 00-07, all models with marking according to type plate: 2N, 2Y, 1W, 4D, 4U, 9E, 6E, 6T, 26
