Sway bar link is also known as stabilizer rod or K-link. Their purpose is to counteract your Volvo's tendency to sway during cornering. When the links are bad, a clunking sound can be heard when driving over minor irregularities such as railway crossings and small potholes in the road. The sway bar links are easy to replace as you do not need to loosen any other parts in the front axel mounting. However, it is common for the nuts to be tight after several years in an exposed position. A tip is to spray on 5-56 well in advance before you start unscrewing the old links. We reserve the total amount of the order and only deduct money when your goods are packed and ready for dispatch.
