The mirror glass is of the convex type. This means the mirror glass has the greatest magnification in the centre of the mirror surface. The central area of the mirror glass has slightly stronger magnification to clearly show vehicles behind you, while the periphery has lower magnification to give a wider view behind your Volvo. This is exactly as it should be, as the mirror glass is manufactured in the same way as your Volvo original mirror glass for these models.
The connector for the electric heating on the back of the glass connects to the socket in the mirror housing.
