This installation kit makes it possible to mount aftermarket stereo 2DIN in your Volvo V70 and XC70 between 2012 and 2016. Complete kit (without stereo) with all necessary cables and frame for mounting a new 2-DIN head unit. With this package, you also keep the button functions on the steering wheel. The package is adapted for models after 2012 with passive system. So, this kit is for models without the original amplifier under the front passenger seat. With this kit, you can easily get a signal from the stereo to an external amplifier to connect things like a subwoofer or new speakers in the doors.
The aftermarket stereo is installed where the current display is located, which means losing the ability to see temperature, time, etc. Additionally, you won't be able to access the menu in the display for features like mirrors or the alarm.
