Kallistuksenvakaajatanko tunnetaan myös nimillä stabilointitanko tai K-tanko. Sen tehtävänä on vähentää Volvosi kallistumista kaarteissa. Kun tangot ovat kuluneet, pienistä epätasaisuuksista, kuten tasoristeyksistä tai tien kuopista ajettaessa, kuuluu kolisevaa audio. Kallistuksenvakaajatangon vaihtaminen on helppoa, sillä etuakselistossa ei tarvitse irrottaa muita osia. Usein mutterit ovat kuitenkin tiukassa vuosien käytön jälkeen. Kannattaa suihkuttaa 5-56-öljyä hyvissä ajoin ennen vanhojen tankojen irrotusta. Kun asennat uudet kallistuksenvakaajatangot, lisää hieman öljyä mutteriin, jolloin seuraava vaihto sujuu helpommin.
