Een claybar moet gebruikt worden met een soort van "lube", wij raden Pureest C2 aan. Gebruik ook niet de hele klei in één keer. Breek het in delen zodat het makkelijker is om mee te werken, en het langer meegaat.
Zorg eerst dat de auto helemaal schoon is, spuit vervolgens het middel op de Lak om te zorgen dat de klei gemakkelijk glijdt. De Lak mag niet droog zijn.
Gebruik de klei op een klein stukje tegelijk. En spuit middel om de klei te laten glijden.
Wanneer een deel van bijvoorbeeld het voorscherm is behandeld, kun je makkelijk zien hoeveel vuil er in de klei is blijven hangen! Vouw dan de klei zodat een schoon stuk gebruikt kan worden. Ga verder met het volgende deel.
