Klei wordt op de Lak gewreven om alle verontreinigingen te verwijderen die kunnen achterblijven nadat de auto is gewassen. Een Claybar mag niet op de Lak gebruikt worden zonder enige vorm van glijmiddel, omdat de klei zelf de Lak kan krassen. Na behandeling met Klei raden we altijd aan om de auto direct te polijsten.

Zorg eerst dat de auto volledig schoon is, spuit vervolgens het middel op de Lak om ervoor te zorgen dat de klei gemakkelijk glijdt. De Lak mag niet droog zijn.
Gebruik de klei op een klein stukje tegelijk. En spuit middel om de klei te laten glijden.
Wanneer een deel van bijvoorbeeld de voorscherm is behandeld, kun je gemakkelijk zien hoeveel vuil er in de klei is blijven hangen! Vouw dan de klei zodat een schoon stuk klei gebruikt kan worden. Ga verder met het volgende deel.
