Deze voorremschijven voor de Volvo XC40 zijn van het massieve type en hebben een diameter van 302 mm. De remschijven worden per paar geleverd, omdat remschijven altijd per paar per as worden vervangen. Alle remschijven worden individueel gebalanceerd en gecontroleerd in de fabriek. Deze hebben een gecoat oppervlak om beter bestand te zijn tegen roest.

Nieuwe remschijven inrijden:
Om de levensduur van de remschijven te maximaliseren, moet u de eerste 50 mijl voorzichtig rijden. Het is ook goed om uw voet niet op het rempedaal te houden tijdens langere stops na hard remmen, bijvoorbeeld bij stoplichten. Wacht altijd met het wassen van je Volvo totdat de remmen zijn afgekoeld, of voorkom dat er water op de hete schijven spat tijdens het wassen.
