Dit installatiekit maakt het mogelijk om een aftermarket stereo 2DIN in je Volvo V70 en XC70 te monteren tussen 2012 en 2016. Compleet kit (zonder stereo) met alle benodigde kabels en een frame voor de montage van een nieuwe 2-DIN hoofdunit. Met dit pakket behoud je bovendien de knopfuncties op het stuur. Het pakket is aangepast voor modellen na 2012 met een passief systeem. Dus modellen zonder originele eindversterker onder de passagiersstoel voorin. Met dit kit kun je eenvoudig een signaal van de stereo naar een externe eindversterker krijgen om bijvoorbeeld een subwoofer aan te sluiten, of nieuwe luidsprekers in de deuren.
De aftermarket stereo wordt geïnstalleerd waar het display nu zit, wat betekent dat je de mogelijkheid verliest om temperatuur, tijd, etc. te zien. Je kunt ook niet meer in het menu van het display wijzigen voor bijvoorbeeld spiegels of het alarm.
