Deze keerring is gemonteerd op drie verschillende plaatsen op deze modellen. Bij de 4-cilinder roodblokmotoren is deze gemonteerd aan de voorzijde van de tussenas en de nokkenas. Bij de latere 5-cilinder witblokmotoren is deze gemonteerd aan de voorzijde van de krukas.
Wij raden aan deze afdichting te vervangen wanneer de distributieriemen worden vervangen, omdat het een veelvoorkomend probleem is dat deze lekt bij onze geliefde Volvo motoren.
