Let op dat u de auto spanningsloos moet maken voordat u het originele stuur met airbag demonteert. De airbag moet uiterst voorzichtig worden behandeld. Bij kortsluiting wordt deze in zeer korte tijd met gas gevuld, vergelijkbaar met een explosie. Dit kan resulteren in persoonlijk letsel. Moet worden gedemonteerd door een bevoegde technicus.
