Deze remschijven voor de Volvo XC90 zijn van het geventileerde type. Remschijven worden geleverd in een set van twee stuks, aangezien remschijven altijd paarsgewijs per as worden vervangen.

De remschijven zijn voorzien van een gecoat oppervlak om beter bestand te zijn tegen roest, dat anders na verloop van tijd de remprestaties van de schijf kan verslechteren.

Nieuwe remschijven inrijden:
Om de levensduur van je remschijven te maximaliseren, moet je de eerste 500 km voorzichtig remmen. Daarnaast is het ook goed om je voet niet op het rempedaal te houden tijdens lange stops na hard remmen, zoals bij het wachten voor het stoplicht. Wacht altijd met het wassen van je Volvo totdat de remmen zijn afgekoeld, of voorkom dat er tijdens het wassen water op de hete schijven spat.
Met deze eenvoudige tips zullen je nieuwe remschijven nóg lang brandschoon blijven.
