Spejlglaset er af typen asfærisk glas. Det betyder, at spejlglaset har varierende forstørrelsesgrader over dets spejlflade. Midtområdet af spejlglaset har en anelse kraftigere forstørrelse for at tydeligt vise biler bagved, mens periferien har lavere forstørrelse for at fange en større helhed bag din Volvo. Dette er ingen konstigheder da spejlglaset er fremstillet på samme måde som dit Volvo original spejlglas til Volvo S60, S80 og V70. Spejlglaset er lamineret hvilket skaber en vandafvisende effekt, små dråber samles til store og løber af. Kontakten for elopvarmning på glassets bagside tilsluttes sammen med kontakten i spejlhuset.
