    S80 årgang 1998 var Volvos første model på den nyudviklede P2 platform, som senere blev delt med S60, V70, XC70 og også XC90 nogle år senere. Dette var den første model, der fik Volvos længe planlagte nye formsprog. Det, vi i dag ser som typisk for Volvo. Konceptbilledet til S80 kom faktisk allerede i 1992 og blev dengang kaldt ECC. Vi inddeler Volvo S80 i kategorierne reservedele, styling og tilbehør.
